Spring Travel Team

Tryouts begin March 8th at Bordentown Regional High School: 318 Ward Ave, Bordentown, NJ 08505. U8-U10 do NOT have to tryout but will need to complete a registration form below. See below for practice times/locations for your age group and PLEASE note the changes in location throughout the season.

Tryout times:

• U12-U14: 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM

• U16-U19: 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

The Spring Travel Team season consists of Four pillars:

SWS Training ONLY

This program allows players to continue to train throughout the spring without the commitment requirement of our training program. Tournaments are NOT required, uniforms are NOT required, and tryouts are NOT required. Athletes will train 1x a week, focusing on advancing skills and understanding the game through game-like drills and scrimmages.

SWS Pipeline Program

The pipeline program is the first step for our club. It provides a learning environment for all ages and skills between the ages of 8 and 18. Players practice once a week and compete in three local 7v7 tournaments.

SWS Purple and Green Program

The SWS Purple and Green Program aims to provide a high level of competition that is either 11v11 or 7v7. This program practices twice a week for two hours and will participate in local and regional one-day or two-day tournaments.

Showcase Teams

Players who express interest will be evaluated to play in different showcases throughout 2025-2026. These showcases include:

• Shooting Star Jamboree: April 26th - April 27th, DE Sportsplex, Frederica, DE, U14 and U16

• National Sunshine Junior Classic – June 22nd-24th Kissimmee, Florida U14 ONLY

• Hockey 5s – July 22nd-24th in Palmyra, Pennsylvania 

• Shooting Star Thanksgiving College Showcase – Thanksgiving Weekend in Midlothian, Virginia 

• Winter Escape College Showcase January 2026 in Sanford, Florida 

11v11 and 7v7 teams

Players chosen for a spring travel team Pipeline and SWS Green and Purple Team(s) are expected to commit to practices 2x each week for 1.5 - 2 hours, and will participate in several local and regional tournaments some in preparation for National tournaments.

GK Training is provided 1x a week with a GK Coach.

Players not placed on a spring travel Green and Purple Team(s) are invited to train with our Pipeline Program.

• U19 : 18 or under as of 1/1/25

• U16 : 15 or under as of 1/1/25

• U14 : 13 or under as of 1/1/25

• U12: 11 or under as of 1/1/25

• U10: 9 or under as of 1/1/25

• U8: 8 or under as of 1/1/25
